- Both are used for carrying forward messages.
- Both can be used anywhere in the world.
Differences:
- We can hear the voice of another person on phone but not in the case of the letter.
- Letters take some time to reach the destination. On phone, our message instantly reaches the other person.
- The phone is costlier than letters.
