A raid must follow these rules:

1. The raider must begin chanting “Kabaddi” before touching the opponents’ court and continue the chant during the raid.
2. Only one raider may enter the opponents’ court at a time. Sending more than one results in a technical point for the opposing team.
3. When a raider is out, the opposing team must send its raider within 5 seconds; otherwise, it loses its turn to raid.
