Yoga is an ancient Indian science of physical, mental and spiritual fitness. The word Yoga comes from Sanskrit 'yuj', meaning to unite or join; it is the union of the individual self (Atma) with the universal self (Parmatma). Its ultimate aim is self-identification and self-perfection through self-purification and self-realization.
