Din-i-Ilahi was a short-lived, syncretic 'divine faith' founded by Mughal emperor Akbar to promote religious harmony, blending Sufi, Hindu and Islamic ideas; it had no scriptures or temples and largely died with Akbar, and attracted very few adherents in practice.
