Let us first compare `(-25)/8 and (-9)/4` .
`(- 25)/8 = (- 25 xx 1)/(8 xx 1) = (- 25)/8 ; (- 9)/4 = (- 9 xx 2)/(4 xx 2) = (-18)/8`
Now , `(-25)/8 = (-18)/8`
= −25 < −18
`therefore (−25)/8 < (−9)/4`
