Solution

The slope of a V-I graph where Potential Difference (V) is plotted on the Y-axis and Current (I) is on the X-axis gives the electrical resistance. We can pick any clear coordinate point from the straight line:

At V = 8 V, the current I = 4 A

At V = 6 V, the current I = 3 A

At V = 4 V, the current I = 2 A

At V = 2 V, the current I = 1 A

Formula:

According to Ohm's Law, the resistance (R) is calculated as:

R = `(ΔV)/(ΔI) = V/I`

Using any set of values from the graph (for example, V = 8 V and I = 4 A):

R = `8/4`

R = 2 Ω

The value of resistance from the given V-I graph is 2 Ω.
