Given Data:

Resistance (R) = 50 Ω

Work done (W) = 5000 J

Electric charge (Q) = 10 C

Formula:

Using the formula for potential difference:

V = `W/Q`

= `5000/10`

= 500 V

According to Ohm's Law:

I = `V/R`

= `500/50`

= 10 A

The flow of current through the resistor is 10 Amperes.
