Solution

Equivalent resistance of A, B and C in series

\[ \mathrm{R}_{\mathrm{s}}=(1+2+3)=6 \Omega \]

∴ Equivalent resistance of \(\mathrm{R}_{\mathrm{s}}\) and \(6 \Omega\) in parallel

\[ \frac{1}{R_{p}}=\frac{1}{6}+\frac{1}{6}=\frac{2}{6}=\frac{1}{3} \quad \text { or } \quad R_{p}={3} \Omega\]
