Solution

The words ‘Et tu, Brute! Then fall, Caesar’ show Caesar’s deepest pain at being betrayed by Brutus, whom he trusted and loved. The physical wounds hurt Caesar, but Brutus’ betrayal affects him most because it comes from a close friend.

The play shows that true friendship should be based on trust, loyalty and understanding. Antony remains loyal to Caesar even after his death and risks his own safety to avenge him. Cassius and Brutus also share a strong friendship, and although they quarrel, they later forgive each other and reconcile.

To me, friendship means standing by a person with honesty, loyalty and respect, especially during difficult times. Julius Caesar shows that friendship can be a great source of strength, but betrayal by a trusted friend can cause the deepest pain.
