Solution
According to the poem “The Trees,” people have damaged nature in the conflict between people and the environment. People have learnt to obtain a lot, but they’ve neglected to conserve nature. This has destroyed forests, killed animals, and contaminated water sources. Nature is the strongest thing, despite popular belief. No amount of technology can stop a natural disaster. Floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters demonstrate that nature can do anything. A few trees in our homes don’t indicate we have nature; it implies we have a very misguided notion of nature, says the poet. Nature is outside in our cut-down forests. The poem says the trees want to leave the human-made obstacles and enter the forest. We shall stop cutting down trees and be responsible for the consequences.
