Solution
There was a drawing and color contest in school. Girls were to create outfits, while boys were to design motorboats. Maddie expected Peggy to win the event because she was an excellent designer and outperformed everyone else in the class. When they returned to the classroom the next day, they discovered drawings everywhere. There must have been hundreds of them. Everyone was queued up. Miss Mason declared the winners. She explained that one girl drew one hundred gowns, each unique and in gorgeous colors. She announced that Wanda Petronski had won the girls’ medal. Wanda had been absent from school for a few days and was not present to accept the award. Miss Mason encouraged the kids to go around the room silently and look at Wanda’s lovely artwork.
