Solution

L.C.M. of denominators 12, 16, 20 and 8 is 240.

$$\frac{7}{12} = \frac{140}{240}$$

$$\frac{9}{16} = \frac{135}{240}$$

$$\frac{13}{20} = \frac{156}{240}$$

$$\frac{5}{8} = \frac{150}{240}$$

Comparing numerators in descending order: $$156 > 150 > 140 > 135$$.

Descending order: $$(13 : 20), (5 : 8), (7 : 12), (9 : 16)$$.
