Solution
It is 7:30 p.m. local time in Mumbai.
Mumbai is situated at 82 1/2° E on the Prime Meridian.
It would be 9:20 a.m. GMT. [7:30 hours - (82 1/2° × 4 min)] = 7:30 hours - 5:30 hours = 2:00 pm.
The coordinates of the Ivory Coast are 20° W of the Prime Meridian.
Ivory Coast will always be 20 × 4 = 80 min = 1:20 hrs behind GMT.
Therefore, the local time in the Ivory Coast at 2:00 pm GMT will be 2:00 − 1:20 = 12:40 pm.
