Question
An electromagnetic wave has a frequency of 500 MHz and a wavelength of 60 cm Calculate the velocity of the wave.

Solution
Frequency = 500MHz = 500 x `10^6`Hz
Wavelength = 60 cm = 0.6 m
Velocity of wave = frequency x wavelength
= 500x `10^6` x 0.6 = 3 x `10^8`m/s
