An angle is equal to five times its complement. Determine its measure.

Solution
Let the complement of the required angle measures x°
Therefore, the required angle becomes 5x°
Since, the angles are complementary, thus, their sum must be equal to 90°.
Or we can say that :
`x + 5x = 90°`
`6x = 90°
`x = (90°)/6`
` x = 15°`
Hence, the required angle becomes:
5x =5(15°)
= 75°
