Solution

Given radius of circle is 8 cm.

Area of shaded part = `1/2 π r^2 = 1/2 xx 3.14 xx 8^2`

Area of shaded part = 100.48 cm2

The perimeter of shaded part = πr × 4r

The perimeter of shaded part = 3.14 × 8 + 4 × 8

The perimeter of shaded part = 25.12 + 32

The perimeter of shaded part = 57.12 cm.
