Solution
Let the present value of scooter = P
And value of scooter after 1 year = A
Present value of given scooter (P) = Rs 42,000
Time (n) = 1 year
Rate of depreciation (R) = 8% p.a.
Total cost of scooter after 1 year
(A) = P `(1 + R/100)^n`
= 42000 `(1 + 8/100)^1`
= 3360
= 42000 – 3360
= ₹38,640
अतः, 1 वर्ष के बाद स्कूटर का मूल्य(A) = 38,640 रु.
