Reaction: \[\ce{NH4NO3 ->[\Delta] N2O + 2H2O}\] (steam)

According to Gay-Lussac's Law:

1 volumes of N2O is released along with → 2 volumes of H2O (steam)

Calculation:

Volume of N2O = `1/2` × Volume of steam

= `1/2 xx 7.58  dm^3`

= 3.79 dm3

3.79 dm3 of N2O gas is released.
