Solution
Let B’s salary = Rs. x
A’s salary = Rs. 4x
According to the statement :
x + 4x = 3750
⇒ 5x = 3750
⇒ x = 750
4x = 750 x 4 = 3000
A’s salary = Rs. 3000
B’s salary = Rs. 750
