Solution
Inner diameter of hemispherical bowl = 11.2 cm
r = `11.2/2`
= 5.6 cm
To Find: Volume of milk it can hold.
Steps:
Volume of a hemisphere:
V = `2/3` π r3
Substitute r = 5.6 cm and take π = `22/7`
V = `2/3 xx 22/7 xx (5.6)^2`
(5.6)3 = 5.6 × 5.6 × 5.6
= 175.616
V = `2/3 xx 22/7 xx 175.616`
V = 367.96 cm3
