Given: A well shuffled deck of 52 cards; one card is drawn at random.

Step-wise calculation:

1. Total number of possible outcomes = 52   ...(Total cards)

2. Number of favourable outcomes = Number of clubs = 13.

3. Probability formula:

P(club) = `"Number of favourable outcomes"/"Total outcomes"`

= `13/52`

4. Simplify: `13/52`

= `1/4` 

= 0.25

= 25%

The probability of getting a club = `1/4` = 0.25 = 25%.
