Since, ∆FDE ≅ ∆ABC

∴ DF = AB ...[By CPCT]
DF = 5 cm
And ∠E = ∠C ...[By CPCT]
⇒ ∠E = ∠C = 180° – (∠A + ∠B) ...[By angle sum property of a ∆ABC]
⇒ ∠E = 180° – (80° + 40°)
⇒ ∠E = 60°
