Given that B is a skew-symmetric matrix

∴ B' = – B

Let P = A'BA

⇒ P' = (A'BA)'

= A'B'(A')'  .....[(AB)' = B'A']

= A'(– B) A

= – A'BA

= – P

So P' = – P

Hence, A'BA is a skew-symmetric matrix.
