उत्तर

  1. When aqueous sodium sulphate reacts with aqueous barium chloride, a white, insoluble precipitate of barium sulphate forms, along with a solution of sodium chloride.
  2. \[\ce{Na2SO4_{(aq)} + BaCl2_{(aq)} -> BaSO4_{(s)} + 2NaCl_{(aq)}}\]
  3. The reaction will not take place when sodium sulphate and barium chloride are in the solid (dry) state, because ions are not free to move and exchange.
  4. Double displacement reaction
  5. \[\ce{Pb(NO3)2_{(aq)} + 2KI_{(aq)} -> PbI2_{(s)} + 2KNO3_{(aq)}}\]
