Height of cliff = 98 m.
Initial velocity of stone = 0 ms-1.
Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 ms-2.
We know H = ut + 1/2 gt2.
98 = 1/2 X 9.8X t2.
t2 = 98X2/9.8 = 20
t= 4.47 sec.
