उत्तर

Specific heat capacity of a body can be defined as the amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of the unit mass of that body by 1°C (or 1 K).

It is given as:

s  = `(Delta Q)/(DeltaT xx m)`

where,

ΔQ = Amount of heat energy supplied

ΔT = Rise in temperature

m = Mass of the body
