Given power P = 3k W = 3000 W, Voltage = 250 V

We know that, P =VI

`"I" = "P"/"V" = 3000/250 = 12 "A"`

Thus am aximum of 12 A current can pass through the electric wire

and a fuse of rating 13 A should be used with it
