उत्तर १

  • A legal action brought in a court of law about an issue of general public interest is known as Janhit Yachika' or public interest litigation. This allows anyone to apply to a court of law for justice on behalf of the general people.
  • It involves the interests of under-represented groups in society rather than those of individuals. Giving unrepresented people in society a legal redress is Janhit Yachika's primary goal.
  • The court delivers justice that will benefit the particular group or society as a whole after reviewing and confirming the case. Any party, even one unrelated to the grievance, may file it. Janhit Yachika may occasionally be brought before the Supreme Court directly as well as the High Court.

उत्तर २

Public Interest Litigation means a legal action initiated in a court of law regarding a matter of general public interest. It is a legal mechanism under which any person may approach the court in the interest of society. Its aim is to provide legal remedies to unrepresented groups of society. The party that is not related to the grievance can also file public interest litigation. It is filed in the High Court and, in some cases, directly in the Supreme Court.
