उत्तर

Number of moles present in 500 mL of 0.5 M H2SO4 = 0.5 mol

∴ V1 = 30 mL

M1 = 0.5 M

V2 = 500 mL

M2 = ?

Using the formula:

M1V1 = M2V2

⇒ 0.5 M × 30 mL = M2 × 500 mL

⇒ M2 = `(0.5 xx 30)/500`

⇒ `15/500`

⇒ 0.03 M

∴ The molarity of the solution is 0.03 M.
