Zonal Science Exhibition Held with Great Enthusiasm
By Savita Deshmukh, Student Editor
The Zonal Science Exhibition was organised by the Education Department and hosted by our school on 5 September 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. It was organised to encourage scientific thinking, creativity, and innovation among students. Teams from 25 schools participated enthusiastically. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr Meera Sharma, a well-known scientist, who attended as the Chief Guest.
Several competitions were conducted, including a Science Quiz, Science Model Competition, and Poster-Making Competition. Many interesting working models were displayed on topics such as renewable energy, rainwater harvesting, robotics, waste management, space technology, and smart cities. The students explained the working and usefulness of their models to the judges and visitors. The trophy for the best exhibit was awarded to Green Valley School for its model on solar-powered smart farming.
The Chief Guest appreciated the creativity and scientific knowledge shown by the students. She encouraged them to remain curious and use science to solve real-life problems. The visitors also praised the models and the efforts of the participants. The exhibition was successfully concluded with the prize distribution ceremony and was appreciated by everyone present.
