Einstein was born on 14^th March, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. From an early age, he was fascinated by the laws of nature and felt a deep sense of wonder at the invisible force that directed a compass needle. He is best known for his Special and General Theories of Relativity and for the concept of mass-energy equivalence, expressed by the famous equation E = mc².
