The Importance of Value Education in School Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. This morning, I would like to briefly express the importance of value education in schools. Value education is of utmost importance in a student's life. Nelson Mandela had said, 'Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world'. Education is useless if it fails to impart proper values to the students. Value education is essential because it addresses various issues like character, moral development, spiritual enlightenment, social and cultural development, etc. It helps in the personality development of the students and makes them better and aware citizens of tomorrow. Values are crucial in promoting the true spirit of democracy in a society like ours. Every school must try to impart value education to its students. Thank you. |
