Write whether the graph of the equation given below is parallel to the X-axis or parallel to the Y-axis.

y − 2 = 0

⇒ y = 2

y = 2 is the equation of the line parallel to the X-axis at a distance of 2 units and above the X-axis.

Thus, the graph of the line y − 2 = 0 is parallel to X-axis.
