Write the first five terms of the sequences whose nth term is:

`a_n = n/(n + 1)`

an = `"n"/("n"+ 1)`

substituting n = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, we get

a1 = `1/(1 + 1) = 1/2`,

a2 = `2/(2 + 1) = 2/3`,

a3 = `3/(3 + 1) = 3/4`,

a4 = `4/(4 + 1) = 4/5`,

a5 = `5/(5 + 1) = 5/6`

∴ अतः अनुक्रम के पाँच पद `1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, 5/6` हैं।
