Guru Nanak: (AD 1469 – AD 1538) He was born in Talwandi now Nankana Saheb in Pakistan. He believed in personal devotion to God. He laid emphasis on Hindu- Muslim unity. He undertook many journeys. He finally settled at Kartarpur on the right bank of the Ravi river and gave instructions to every one, who came there.
