Question
Write the function of retina in human eye.
Solution 1
The retina is the “film” of the eye like the film of a camera. The retina is the light-sensing part of the eye. It converts the incident light into electrical signals and sends them to the brain.
Solution 2
The retina acts as a screen on which the image is formed in the eye. The retina has a large number of light-sensitive cells. When the image falls on the retina then these light-sensitive cells get activated and generate electrical signals.
