Solution
The President of India can be removed from office by a process called impeachment, as provided under Article 61 of the Constitution. This process can be initiated for violation of the Constitution. The impeachment can be initiated in either House of Parliament. A resolution to this effect must be signed by at least one-fourth of the members of that House and must be passed by a two-thirds majority of the total membership. After the resolution is passed by one House, it is sent to the other House for investigation. The President has the right to appear and be heard during this process. If the second House also passes the resolution with a two-thirds majority, the President stands removed from office. This is the only constitutional method for the removal of the President in India.
