Arguments FOR

• Preparation for Exams: Regular assignments serve as a “low-stakes” way to test one’s knowledge before high-stakes board exams, helping identify gaps in understanding early on.

Arguments AGAINST

• Physical and Mental Exhaustion: After a six- to eight-hour school day, children need rest. Excessive homework leads to burnout, sleep deprivation, and high stress levels, which can be counterproductive to learning.
