Solution

Dissociative Fugue is an uncommon psychological condition in which a person travels suddenly and unexpectedly away from their home or usual environment, accompanied by partial or complete memory loss and loss of identity. During the fugue state, the individual may change their name, identity, and occupation and begin a new life in an other location.

This condition frequently develops in response to significant psychological stress or trauma, and it acts as a defence strategy to avoid excessive emotional conflict. It is similar to dissociative amnesia and can last from a few hours to several years. Individuals with dissociative fugue frequently have a history of anxiety, dependency, or difficulties dealing with stress. When the fugue ends, individuals usually have no memory of what happened during the episode.
