Solution
Puberty is the stage in human growth when a child’s body undergoes physical changes and becomes capable of sexual reproduction. It is marked by rapid growth, development of primary and secondary sexual characters, and hormonal changes, usually occurring between the ages of 10 to 14 in girls and 12 to 16 in boys. Adolescence, on the other hand, is a broader stage of life that includes not only the physical changes of puberty but also emotional, mental, and social development. It is the transitional phase between childhood and adulthood, generally spanning from about 11 to 19 years of age. In short, puberty refers specifically to physical and biological changes, whereas adolescence covers the overall process of growth and maturity during the teenage years.
