Solution
Detachment means not being focused on the outcome of one’s actions. People who are detached don’t seek property, wealth, fame, power, or recognition. For example, saints and spiritual individuals often live with detachment and tend to experience lower stress levels. It’s often said that the more wealth a person has, the more they worry about maintaining it.
Detached individuals do their work sincerely but do not wait or hope for rewards. As a result, if they don’t receive recognition or success, they don’t feel upset or stressed. Research supports the idea that those who are less concerned with outcomes experience less physical and mental stress. For example, a detached person may sleep peacefully, while someone constantly chasing goals may stay restless.
In essence, detachment promotes peace of mind by reducing stress related to expectations and achievements.
