The President of India can nominate two members in Lok Sabha and twelve members in Rajya Sabha of those having special knowledge and practical experience in fields of literature, art, science or social service. He nominates· two members in the Lok Sabha from the Anglo-Indian community if he feels that this community has not been adequately represented in this House.
