Solution
Sternberg's theory defines the Experiential type (also known as Creative Intelligence) as how you manage new tasks and situations depending on your previous experiences. It is divided into two subcategories:
- Novelty: This refers to the ability to deal with a completely new activity or situation. It involves using prior knowledge to develop innovative answers to unfamiliar problems.
- Automation: This is the ability to repeat an activity until it is “automatic”. This allows a person to complete everyday tasks efficiently without using much mental effort.
