Solution

  1. The Forward Bloc was formed by Subhas Chandra Bose in May 1939 after he resigned from the presidency of the Indian National Congress.
  2. He had more and more disagreements with Mahatma Gandhi and the leaders of the Congress party, especially about starting the fight for freedom right away while the world was at war.
  3. Bose thought that the Congress was becoming too mild and giving in to British rule.
  4. The goal of the Forward Bloc was to bring together all of the country’s socialist, nationalist, and anti-British groups.
  5. Unlike the mainstream Congress, which fought for independence without violence, it wanted to keep fighting for full freedom but in a more radical and violent way.
