Solution
Incense sticks release scented vapours that carry their scent. Since vapors are gases, their molecules disperse across the space. There are no forces preventing the gas molecules from disintegrating since they move so quickly. As a result, when incense sticks are lit in one corner of the room, their scent permeates the other.
