Vijay Singh asked the ghost disguised as Natwar to come closer because he had realized that he was not his friend, but a ghost. He wanted to have a better look at the ghost, and like all good wrestlers, he wanted to size up his opponent.

plaintive tone and melancholy sound touched me greatly, and its beauty
reminded me of the song of a nightingale and a cuckoo. After some time, I walked
up the hill, carrying the memory of the young woman's hauntingly beautiful song
with me."
