⇒ 6x² + 4x + 9x + 6 = 6(x² – 3x + 2) 

⇒ 6x² + 13x + 6 = 6x² – 18x + 12 

⇒ 31x – 6 = 0 

This is of the form ax² + bx + c = 0 

Hence, the given equation is not a quadratic equation.
