Solution
- Cradle method: This method is highly useful for carrying small children and victims who have less body weight.
- Carrying piggy back: This method is useful for transporting conscious patients who are weak or unable to walk but can hold onto the rescuer's neck.
- Human crutch method: If one leg of the person is injured, the victim is supported with minimal load on the other leg. This is called the human crutch method.
- Carrying on two hands chair: Patients that cannot use their hands but can hold their body upright are carried by such a method.
- Pulling or lifting method: This technique is specifically used for dragging or carrying an unconscious patient safely over a very short distance.
- Carrying on a four-hand chair: This method is useful when support is primarily needed for the body part below the waist region of the patient.
- Stretcher: By making a temporary stretcher in case of an emergency, the unconscious patient can be moved. Such temporary stretchers are made by using bamboo, blankets, etc.
