• Fifty years from now, society may become much more advanced because of the rapid development of science and technology. People may use robots, artificial intelligence, smart machines and automatic vehicles in their daily lives. Education may become more digital, medical treatment may improve, and communication may become faster and easier. Many new occupations may develop, while some traditional jobs may change because of automation.
• At the same time, people will have to protect the environment and natural resources. Renewable energy such as solar and wind power may be used more widely. Cities may become smarter, cleaner and better planned, with improved transport, water supply and waste management. Thus, future society may be more comfortable and technologically developed, but people will also need to use resources carefully, responsibly and judiciously.
