Solution
The Cholas system of administration was highly organised and efficient, the king as the pivot of all administration. There was the central government, the provincial government, and local self-government including ‘ur’ – assembly of normal villages, ‘ Sabha’- assembly of Brahmins and ‘nagaram’ – the assembly of merchants. All this well distributed and managed system of administration became strong and effective.
